The veteran is one of the representative works of many Hell paintings by dark artist Wayne Barlowe. It depicts a veteran demon soldier, a centurion, who is scarred all over but adorned with trophies of battle. The heart of his chest has been dug by the victors in the battle of rebellion in heaven, leaving a terrible black hole. His shield arm has also been removed in the battle in hell, However, these terrible wounds increased the veteran's sense of vicissitudes. This legendary scale bust comes in two variants, the Flaming Cut edtion features a warm and blood themed color pallete with a brown display base.
